Not normally my cup of tea. But it does have an idiosyncracy, a strangeness and an intensity to it which I like. It is quite unusual. He's leaning on his fist. Which is pressed down hard on a flagstone, or a piece of rock. I like the way you've done that. I think it's fantasy art, really. I'm going to watch you for a bit and see what you do.

Excellent piece here. The mix of rough areas with detailed gives the piece a great feel to it. The unusual amount of shadow gives it a dark appearance, while keeping most of the colors relatively bright. My favorite aspect is the expression in his eye - the look of tortured insanity; of spit and revenge. His face reminds me of that of the Man of Tomorrow from the "Death and Return of Superman" arc years ago. Good memories indeed. Well done with this piece.

the shine of highlight on metal is wonderful....very painterly,reminds me of a an old master painting...and I love teh ruddy flesh tones
